Bridgeport neighborhood is the home of five Chicago mayors. It is 1947. Martin attempts to kill the priest who molested his nephew and James Finlayson, aide to the Mayor of Chicago leads a conspiracy to keep the incident secret to protect the boys, the Church and the City of Chicago. James and his brother Adam, a Catholic Priest are forced to kill Martin to protect the secret, the Church, themselves, James’ fiancée and her son. Jimmy and Gabriella use and ultimately assist James as their interests merge. The Church remains quiet. New and untried psychotherapy approaches are tried on the molested altar boys.
